You can't change a story you don't realize you're telling.
Growth happens through consciously taking three (simple but not easy) steps:
- Awareness:
- Notice what is capturing your attention.
- Where do you consistently feel your focus going?
- Meaning:
- Discover why you are so attentive to it.
- Why might this drawing your attention make sense in your life?
- Reframing:
- Change the narrative.
- What is a new story that could be equally true but also empowering to you?
Taking control (or maybe just a little bit more) of your mindset doesn't happen by accident. It is a journey that starts with AWARENESS.
